Avianca’s fare scheme adapts to the needs of today’s customer
- As of October 20, the attributes of each fare bundle will be updated for the client to take control of his or her trip and choose the bundle that best adjusts to its needs.
- Flights within Colombia will have 4 available bundles, while international flights offer 6 bundle options.
- Clients may add ancillary products and services, which include three different types of seats that will be revealed to the market in the coming days.
- This announcement is made within the airline’s plan to modernize and become an airline for everyone, with competitive prices and the most robust route network in the region.
Bogota, October 20, 2021.- To offer a fare scheme that adjusts to the needs of today’s traveler, Avianca updated the attributes included in its “Tailor-made Flights” bundles for domestic and international flights. This decision was made in line with the process undertaken by the company to become a simpler company for everyone, offering the best of Avianca: a robust route network, access to Avianca Lounges, the LifeMiles loyalty program, and membership to Star Alliance, among others; all this together with the best of the low-cost world: competitive prices and customization.
“We are adapting our offer to a simpler and more competitive product. With this change, our clients can have access to the best fares and choose the most convenient bundle for the type of trip they are making, paying only for the services they are going to use. If they need additional products or services, they may purchase them without paying for other elements”, said Catalina Nannig, Vice President of Sales and Distribution for Avianca.

Some of the ancillary services offered by the airline include: reserve your seat, seat selection, additional baggage, sports equipment, among others.
The airline also informed that it will soon present the three new seat models it will offer on its A320 aircraft as part of the reconfiguration project of its aircraft cabins.
