Within the framework of the request for the integration of Avianca and Viva, with the objective of strengthening the airline industry in Colombia:
Bogota, May 17, 2023. Avianca's commitment to its travelers remains unchanged. Therefore, for the second time this year, the company was included in the top five of the world's most punctual airlines, occupying the fourth position in the March 2023 Ranking, published by Cirium, the largest global aviation data firm, a category that measures airlines with operations in several countries around the world.
The company recorded a punctuality indicator (On Time Performance - OTP) of 85% with a total of 16,991 flights analyzed by the platform.
This achievement reiterates Avianca's promise to its customers to ensure that they fly safely, on time and with their bags at their destination. It is also a reflection of the work of millions of employees who are behind the operation on a daily basis, and of the positive measures that the Civil Aeronautics Department has been taking in terms of air traffic management and control, which have allowed for a more efficient operation and, above all, a better service.

About Cirium:
Cirium's data system relies on a network of more than 600 sources that provide real-time information. In order to provide unbiased analysis, Cirium's data analysts are part of a group completely independent of the aviation industry, ensuring accuracy of results to accurately establish data collection and delivery. The report is based on three main factors: on-time performance indicators, operational complexity and the airline's ability to lessen the impact of flight adjustments on its passengers. The analysis to determine the punctuality indicators is based on the flight arrival time at the boarding gate, within 15 minutes after the previously scheduled time.
